I just got an https:// proxy to work, but it won’t load flash windows for browser-based games for some reason. However, I’ve been able to load these flash games when the web filter has gone down, or when I’ve been granted open internet for research. It would be much easier if I could just bypass barracuda entirely, but I don’t have the administrator name and password to do so. This same password is often needed to install new software, (like updating flash, which I believe could also be part of the game problem I’ve been having) or to open applications already on my mac, but ‘I don’t have permission to use’.
There’s four kids here who are good at either hacking or programming, but for various reasons they’ve all refused to help
Any useful suggestions?
